Dr. Kiera Garner is an optometrist at Eye Q Optometry, where she provides neuro-optometry and care to those struggling with traumatic brain injuries and children with special needs.
Dr. Garner began her educational journey at the University of Waterloo, where she graduated as a Doctor of Optometry in 1981. She continued expanding her expertise by completing the Anat Baniel Method in 2015, becoming a certified NeuroMovement Practitioner. Dr. Garner also achieved the title of Fellow of the College of Vision Development in 2022.
Known for her caring and empathetic approach, Dr. Garner is detail-oriented and strives to make her patients feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. Garner is driven by the opportunity to make a tangible difference in people’s lives and enjoys solving complex problems that others have been unable to resolve.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Garner is an avid adventurer who has lived in Mexico for 2 years and backpacked alone across Asia alone for a year. Her love for exploration extends to her hobbies, which include salsa dancing, biking, and river swimming.
Dr. Garner is currently not accepting Vision Therapy patients, however, please book with Dr. Freiburger as they are currently accepting Vision Therapy patients.
