In recent years, red light therapy (RLT) has emerged as a promising noninvasive treatment for a variety of conditions, including AMD. 

RLT uses low-wavelength red or near-infrared light to stimulate cellular repair processes and reduce inflammation. When it comes to macular degeneration, RLT has shown potential in improving retinal function, promoting healing, and possibly even reversing some of the damage caused by oxidative stress.
