Your Eye Care Coverage
Alberta Health Care covers yearly comprehensive eye exams for children (18 and under) and seniors (65+ after paying a 25$ exam fee) and covers medically necessary visits for all ages, including eye emergencies. Although comprehensive eye exams for adults (19–64) are not covered, we can direct bill to many insurance plans.
